“FarmRight is a Safer Farms member primarily to support initiates that will reduce harm to people working in the rural sector. As a large-scale operator, we have the benefit of internal resources not available to the majority of New Zealand farmers and growers, and we are happy to share our knowledge and systems if it will assist. We see the health, safety and wellbeing of rural sector people as an issue to collaborate on, for the benefit of all involved.”

Jim Lee, CEO, FarmRight

“PGG Wrightson joined and continues to support Safer Farms because it’s the right thing to do. We see alignment in the messages and actions of Safer Farms with the messages and actions with our internal PGW family. Having that alignment allows for a shared conversation with our team and our clients in how we can improve on the health and wellbeing in the communities we are part of.”

Stephen Guerin,

CEO, PGG Wrightson

Looking after people is central to the success of our sector, it just makes sense. Healthy and safe farms are attractive places to live and work and this is vital so we can attract the best people to our fantastic sector. Safer Farms, the Farm Without Harm strategy and the pledge is a great example of an industry-led solution that we’re excited to support.”
